Sabam

Sabam is the Belgian association of and for authors, composers and publishers. It manages the rights of its 41,000 directly affiliated associates in five domains: music, film & television, theatre & dance, visual arts and literature. Furthermore it represents the rights of millions of foreign authors and composers on Belgian territory.

In 2018, Sabam distributed € 115 million in copyright royalties. In addition, through Sabam For Culture, it supported over 160 cultural events and more than 225 projects of its members in the same year. More than 200 employees in Brussels are working every day to defend the rights of authors. In 2022, Sabam will celebrate its 100th anniversary.
