Are you opening a pop-up bar or restaurant? Apply for your Unisono licence now!

May 8, 2024

Who says summer, says pop-up bars and restaurants. Lovely sunshine, delicious food and drinks, a lively atmosphere and of course... music to complete the picture!

Did you know that... customers are willing to pay more for their drinks, stay longer and feel more at ease when you play music? So don't hesitate any longer: turn the music on and create the perfect cocktail of a pleasant atmosphere and a smart investment.

Arrange all music rights via MyUnisono

Apply for your music licence quickly and easily via MyUnisono and settle all music rights in one go. This way you can welcome your customers in a pleasant atmosphere without a care in the world and at the same time pay the authors, composers, artists and producers of the music you play. This allows them to keep making music so that your customers can enjoy their latest hits next summer. Let's raise a glass to that, shall we?!

Check our (rate) menu

On MyUnisono you will find a tailor-made rate for your pop-up:

  • Do you only play background music in your pop-up and is there no dancing? Then choose Dagelijks gebruik > Horeca uitbating > Audio of audiovisueel system. Answer 'No' to the next two questions and then choose the 'Contract' option. In the next step, you indicate the period during which you will be operating your pop-up.
  • Do you also organise occasional dance evenings (with or without DJ)? This can be easily arranged by applying for an additional licence per dance evening via Een evenement > Feest/Fuif.
  • Do you also occasionally organise live performances to entertain your customers? Then apply for an additional licence per concert via Een evenement > Concert/liveoptreden.

The bill please!

We calculate the authors’ rights for the background music in your establishment based on the duration of the music use:

  • Maximum 1 month = Horeca rate, point M (monthly rate);
  • More than one month = Horeca rate, point H (quarterly/half-yearly rate).

Are you organising a dance evening? Then we apply the rate for Parties. For live music, the rate for Concerts applies.

The Fair Remuneration is always calculated per day*:

For long-term activities, we charge a maximum of 30 days for both rates.
